Let's continue the topic perimenopausal adaptation according to Ayurveda
Menopause is the stoppage time of a woman’s menstrual cycle and is a metamorphosis for ladies. From this time she became the second phase of her life cycle rooted in the experience and wisdom of her back life. But practically it is not an easy transition she experiences many physical and mental symptoms due to hormonal changes.
Ayurveda concerns menopause as a natural transition period known as “Rajonivrutti”, which actually means “the end of Artava Pravrutti” i.e. the stopping of menstruation. But, it is significant to embrace healthy ayurvedic ways to regulate issues during this change.
Menopause doesn't happen all of a sudden but gradually over few years sometimes and the period is called perimenopause.
During perimenopause, one can expect
1,irregular periods
2.vaginal dryness
3.hot flashes
4.night sweats
5.sleep problems
6.mood changes
6weight gain
7.hair loss among other symptoms.
Begin a Vata-Pitta calming nourishment that is warm, light, cooked, and fresh. Ayurveda speculates fresh and warm meals boost the digestive system and enables in sufficiently nutrient absorption as compared to a cold diet or those that are stocked in the refrigerator.
Stop dry, junk, left-over foods, clarified sugar and red meats as they can hinder your digestive system.
Quit alcoholisam and caffeine as they can worsen hot flashes and other menopausal symptoms.
Practice regular, mild exercise in your lifestyle. This can enable you to manage hormones better and keep you healthy mentally as well as physically.
Keep an ayurvedic daily routine with daily self massage with warm oil and nasal medication is advised.
