How to Prepare
Experience the magic of Hibiscus tea with this simple recipe:
Ingredients:
- 6 Hibiscus flowers
- 1 piece of ginger
- 1 piece of cinnamon
- Honey
- Juice of half a lemon
- 3 glasses of water
Preparation:
1. Remove the petals from the Hibiscus flowers, wash them thoroughly, and set them aside in a bowl.
2. Boil 3 glasses of water with a piece of ginger and a piece of cinnamon.
3. After boiling, pour the water into the bowl with the Hibiscus petals. Close the bowl and wait for 2 minutes. Witness the color transform from light red to a rich, dark red.
4. Filter the water, and then add honey and lemon juice while it's still mildly hot.
🔹 You can opt for sugar instead of honey and experiment with lemon juice in various ways to suit your taste.
🔹 In another delightful method, combine a Hibiscus flower, a cup of water, a piece of clove, and a cinnamon stick. Just like brewing regular tea, boil them together and strain out the rejuvenating drink.
As we wrap up this edition of The Hibiscus Herald, remember that Hibiscus is not only one of the most beautiful and powerful flowers but also a source of immense benefits for both your inner and outer well-being.
