HOW ROSE GET THE BEST PERSONALITY
Welcome back to my entertainment newsletter
In Ayurveda, we use a special term called "Guna" to talk about certain qualities of things.
Think of Guna as a way to describe how attractive or useful something is. Guna is all about relationships.
These qualities (Guna) are what make up the stuff we call "Dravya."
Here I am taking Dravya Rose flower
Now, when we look at things from different angles, we see different qualities (Guna). Rasa, Guna, and Veerya are just different ways to talk about these qualities, depending on what they do in our bodies.
For instance, the Rose has different qualities. Its taste, or Rasa, is a mix of Tikta, Kasaya, and Madhura, which means it can be a bit bitter, astringent, and sweet.
The Rose also has some properties, which are described as Laghu (light) and Snigdha (oily). This special combination helps balance our body in a way.
The potency or Virya of Rose is "Sitha," which means it's cooling. This cooling effect helps balance another aspect of our body called Pitta.
And the after-digestion effect, or Vipaka, is "Madhura." This means that it continues to be sweet even after we eat it. It's good for the skin, our senses, and can make our complexion better.
The Rose is also helpful in healing skin diseases and itching, thanks to its astringent quality. It can even make our skin look more vibrant.
So, in simple terms, Rose has qualities that make it good for our skin and body. It cools us down, balances different aspects of our body, and helps with digestion.
This is what Ayurveda teaches us about the properties of Rose. It's like a special plant that can do many good things for us.
