Rahul, a young man who had a busy job and lived in a bustling city with busy schedules and had a dreamy career. His days were filled with meetings, emails, and stress to meet deadlines, leaving him little time for self-care or paying attention to his health.
Fast food and energy drinks became his go-to choices, and he rarely found time to exercise or eat nutritious meals. His friends and family were concerned, but Rahul brushed off their worries, convinced that success came at a price.
It was a quite similar day for him as he rushed to yet another meeting, Rahul felt a sudden sharp pain in his stomach. He dismissed it as indigestion and continued with his hectic schedule, unaware that his body was sending him a warning signal.
The pain persisted and began affecting his work performance. He found it hard to concentrate and often felt fatigued. Frustration grew within him as his health became an obstacle to his ambitions.
One evening, in the Mansoon month of July after a particularly exhausting day in Kerala, Rahul accidentally heard an Ayurvedic wellness event while waiting in a Hotel lobby near by seminar hall.
Curiosity was piqued, and he decided to attend. There, he listened to a wise Ayurvedic practitioner speaking about the importance of understanding one's body and digestive capacity.

The Ayurvedic practitioner was taking a workshop for restaurant chefs about recipes in Karkidaka chikita (special monsoon regimens)in Kerala Ayurvedic treatment. He exampled the benefits of “Pattila Curry” in Karkidaka Chikitsa when digestive capacity tends to diminish.
Rahul felt some alert as he has recurrent pain in his stomach. He realized how he had neglected his health by consuming heavy, hard-to-digest foods amidst his busy schedule.
As Rahul listened, the realization dawned upon him. His fast-paced life and disregard for health were taking a toll on his well-being, hindering his true potential
Agitated by his declining health and seeing how his lifestyle had led to this point, Rahul felt a strong desire for change.
Inspired by Ayurvedic teachings, Rahul committed himself to making a positive change in his life. He sought guidance from the Ayurvedic practitioner and began incorporating Ayurvedic principles into his daily routine. He started
- Digestive Order: Rahul started paying attention to the digestive order of vegetables. He included more leafy greens, flowers, and fruits in his diet while reducing rhizomes and heavy foods.
- Balanced Diet: Rahul opted for homemade, nutritious meals, and started eating mindfully.
Fixed a time for each meal: He planned meals and use modern diet charts to healthy food choices.
Prioritize easily digestible foods like soups, steamed vegetables, and herbal teas in your daily meals.
Fruits: Enjoy apples, berries, and pears, as they are relatively easy to digest and make for healthy snacks.
Exercise: He made time for short walks and stretching exercises during breaks, rejuvenating both his body and mind.
